Gilbert, Arizona resident Jacky Hunt-Broersma won’t stop running. During the last week of April, she set an unofficial women’s world record by running a marathon for 102 straight days. Yes, you read that correctly. She has covered 2,672 miles or the distance from Phoenix, Arizona to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Broersma lost her left leg below the knee to a rare cancer and runs on a carbon fiber prosthesis. Her inspirational story has helped her raise $27,000 to help fellow blade amputee runners get the expensive prostheses they need. Click the link below to read about this amazing woman.
