11-year-old Gilbert, Arizona resident Hector Montoya realized his cherished bike was missing when he returned home from school recently. So he came up with an idea to have a fundraiser to raise money for a new bike. The generosity of his neighbors quickly made sure that Hector will be able to purchase a new bike, but since he raised more than his goal he is planning to get a bike for someone else who is in need of transportation. Hector said, “Because I know other people are struggling in life and some people don’t have a car to get to school.” May we all see the world like 11-year-old Hector.
