Treasured Photographs

Harriet Galbraith had been looking for her bridal photos for more than 30 years and had lost hope of ever locating them. But as luck would have it, Sandra Poindexter was at an auction and noticed these beautiful bridal photographs in a box of old picture frames. She was stunned by the gorgeous bride and gown, so she bid $5 and won the pictures and frames. But something told her that these pictures were special to someone.  So she looked on the back and noticed a name. She put word out on social media and was able to track down Galbraith.  Poindexter said she hopes the story is a reminder that “it doesn’t take a lot sometimes, a simple act of kindness. It might bring so much joy to somebody.  Little things that you don’t think matter, might be very important to somebody else.” A wonderful reminder about how small acts of kindness bring about joy in the world.
