A species of wild cat known as the Flat-headed cat has been spotted over 29 times in Thailand in 2025. Flat-headed cats are small wild cats. They’re the size of house cats and are only found in the forested wetlands of Southeast Asia. They had been previously believed to be extinct in Thailand, but trail cam footage from conservation groups bring hope for the species remaining in Thailand.
