When I heard about yet another school shooting on Friday, I felt numb. Numb. That’s disturbing. School shootings are so common in our news, that we’re becoming numb to these horrific events. I’ll admit that I escaped the news by watching the Royal Wedding Saturday morning. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States, delivered a beautiful message about love. The Power of Love. Its power can heal and change hearts. His message reminded me of a song by Frank Turner. “Be More Kind” is a song about just that. Kindness. We need more love and more kindness in our world today.
