Tanitoluwa Adewumi, better known as Tani, is a chess champion, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a refugee from Nigeria. He lives in a homeless shelter in New York with his family. They’ve been in America less than two years, and Tani loves it here! He dreams of winning more trophies, and his story will have you cheering for him.
