ESPN gave out their ESPY Awards last week. It’s an annual ceremony celebrating significant events and people in sports. This week we’re sharing a couple of the stories from that program. Kirstie Ennis received the Pat Tillman Award for Service. We all remember Pat Tillman’s decision to give up his NFL career to enlist in the military. He was killed in Afghanistan, the same place Kirstie suffered devastating injuries serving as a Marine. Her story is one of survival and the choice to support others as a way to move forward.
