Teachers didn’t get to finish out last school year like they planned. They’re not starting this school year in the classroom with their students. Yet, teachers find a way to reach their kids. This teacher usually has a publication party for her students. Every year she has a stuffed animal created to be an exact replica of the main character in their stories. Since the kids were at home, she delivered them to their houses and caught their reactions. Their smiles and hugs say it all. Let’s support teachers and students as they head back to learning online.

First, this made me cry tears of joy. What a special, wonderful teacher. In the midst of the pandemic, hatred and violence we’re having in our country, this is so great to remind us of the overwhelming good we gave also. God bless Shannon.
