If the Shoe Fits . . .

Talk about walking in someone else’s shoes! Daverius Peters found himself without the proper shoes for his graduation ceremony. When John Butler, a part time teacher, noticed Peters’ panicked look, he stepped in to help. First, he went to the gatekeeper to see if he could change her mind about letting Peters in the door.  When it was clear she would not allow Peters to enter the ceremony to walk with his classmates, Butler quickly decided to exchange his shoes for Peters’ shoes so that he wouldn’t lose his spot in line.
