
Black History Month may have us looking to the past and to history, but Lieutenant Quentin Curtis, better known as Q, is looking to the future. The future of the Chicago Fire Department. Lieutenant Curtis is set to retire soon. After serving the community as a firefighter for 30+ years, he hopes to leave a legacy of future Black firefighters through the nonprofit Black Fire Brigade.
