The United States is celebrating 250 years on Saturday. To celebrate we’re bringing you music from an American composer, “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland. Copland composed the piece in 1942 during World War II. Since then, it has been performed around the world and narrated by actors, historians, journalists, and politicians. This performance is by the Minnesota Orchestra and narrated by retired Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page.
