Chef Craig Bowerson has been cooking professionally for more thirty years. He thought he was good at his craft . . . until he started cooking at The Cedars, a care home in McPherson, Kansas. There he heard a lot of complaints about the food, so he asked the residents about the meals they served at home. He asked how they prepared the dishes. He even asked for recipes.
