Pinky Promise

The US Open begins today in New York. Tennis fans will be bleary-eyed these coming days after staying up late watching the night sessions on TV. In 2017, the all-time great tennis player, Roger Federer, made a promise to an eight-year-old boy named Izyan Ahmad, better known as Zizou, at that year’s tournament. Zizou wanted Federer to play long enough so the two could play one another. Five years later, Federer is making good on his “pinky promise” to give Zizou “the best day of my life.” Click the link below to read the story.
